Bayt al-Hikma Participates in Specialized Conference on Comprehensive Digital Transformation for E-Payment
Bayt al-Hikma, represented by Dr. Falah Hassan Thuwaini, Supervisor of the Economic Studies Department, took part in the specialized conference organized by the Central Bank of Iraq under the title “Comprehensive Digital Transformation for E-Payment”. The event was held in cooperation with the Baghdad Council for Digital Transformation and E-Payment, under the patronage of Osoul Foundation for Economic Development, Al-Arab E-Payment Company, the International Smart Card Network Company, and the Iraqi National Bank.
The conference took place on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Heart of the World Hotel in Baghdad, as part of ongoing efforts to develop payment systems and enhance comprehensive understanding of digital transformation.
The event brought together representatives from various ministries and specialized agencies. The sessions featured rich and in-depth discussions on digital information technologies and the adoption of best global practices. Emphasis was placed on the need for integrated efforts between government institutions and the private sector to promote comprehensive digitization, contributing to building a more diverse and transparent Iraqi economy.
Through active participation in scientific and academic activities organized by cultural institutions and research centers, Bayt al-Hikma aims to strengthen Iraq’s scientific vision. This is particularly evident in its support for the digital transformation process, now considered a strategic choice essential for building a modern state and a diversified economy.
