Chairman of the Board of Trustees Meets the Head of the Advisory and Expert Body at the Presidency of the Republic
to Discuss Cooperation Mechanisms
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, Dr. Qahtan Naama Hassan Al-Khafaji, met on Sunday, 23 November 2025, with Professor Dr. Ali Al-Shukri, Head of the Advisory Body at the Presidency of the Republic. The meeting took place during Dr. Al-Khafaji’s visit to the office of the Head of the Advisory Body to discuss and review mechanisms for scientific and cultural cooperation.
The discussion focused on ways to enhance the work of Bayt al-Hikma and on the means of supporting researchers and experts in the studies and research conducted by the institution’s scientific departments, which cover a wide range of fields relevant to Iraqi society.
For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Shukri praised the role of Bayt al-Hikma’s senior management in implementing strategic plans, supporting scientific competencies, and fostering an advanced research environment. He highlighted the institution’s efforts in engaging researchers in conferences and workshops at both the local and international levels, affirming his support for scientific activities that serve the public interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees presented a selection of books and scientific publications to the library of the Head of the Advisory Body.
