A scientific delegation from the Baghdad Center for Public Policy Studies

Bayt al-Hikma and Baghdad Riwaq Explore Prospects for Cooperation
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, Dr. Qahtan Nima Hassan Al-Khafaji, received on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, a scientific delegation from the Baghdad Riwaq Center for Public Policy, to discuss strengthening mechanisms of scientific and cultural cooperation, reviewing recent research and studies in the political, economic, and social fields, and exchanging expertise and intellectual outputs issued by Bayt al-Hikma and the Baghdad Riwaq Center.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees welcomed the visiting delegation, pointing to the sound and valuable efforts exerted by the Center in analyzing public policies, as well as its periodic and annual reports, which include important information and data that serve the process of building state institutions, formulating plans and strategies to confront challenges, and contributing to creating the necessary groundwork for Iraqi decision-making. He noted that these reports constitute an academic and cognitive guiding compass that is consistent with the practical reality of the new Iraq.
For their part, the members of the Baghdad Riwaq Center expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception at Bayt al-Hikma, praising the great openness witnessed by this longstanding institution, particularly its cooperation programs and numerous joint activities with the Center, as well as the organization of joint seminars and lectures between the two institutions. They also invited the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma to visit the Center and review its scientific and intellectual output, intellectual projects, and training programs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides exchanged a number of important books and publications that reflect some of the most significant achievements of the Iraqi intellect in thought and knowledge.
