​Chairman of the Board of Trustees Receives Director General of Governorate Affairs at the Popular Mobilization Forces
​Today, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, Dr. Qahtan Ni'mah Hassan al-Khafaji, received in his office Dr. Alaa al-Ibrahimi, Director General of the Directorate of Governorate Affairs at the Popular Mobilization Forces, within the framework of enhancing cooperation and joint coordination between the two institutions.
​The meeting witnessed a discussion on the importance of activating scientific research and studies, exchanging academic and cognitive expertise, and implementing programs of mutual interest, in a way that contributes to supporting and developing institutional work.
​The two sides reviewed the shared history of both institutions, highlighting the significant milestones that have contributed to serving society and strengthening national, cultural, and social values, in addition to discussing a number of scientific and academic topics.
​The Chairman of the Board of Trustees emphasized Bayt al-Hikma's keenness to expand fields of scientific and research cooperation with various national institutions in general, and the Popular Mobilization Forces in particular, to support cultural development and enhance the quality of research and scientific outcomes.
​For his part, Dr. Alaa al-Ibrahimi praised the active role played by Bayt al-Hikma in supporting studies and research, stressing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation to serve the public interest and achieve the desired goals.
​At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. al-Khafaji presented a collection of honorary gifts to Dr. Alaa al-Ibrahimi, expressing appreciation for the good relations between the two sides and valuing the efforts exerted in serving the nation.
​On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. al-Ibrahimi conducted an introductory tour through the corridors of the institution, during which he was briefed on the nature of work in its scientific and administrative departments, as well as the programs and activities they implement. He also listened to a detailed explanation of the most prominent tasks, achievements, and future plans of Bayt al-Hikma. Furthermore, he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, stressing the importance of continued meetings and cooperation to achieve more joint milestones.
