Coordination Meeting between the Department of Economic Studies and the Osoul Foundation
Under the supervision of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Qahtan Ni'mah Hassan Al-Khafaji, Bayt Al-Hikma (Department of Economic Studies) held a coordination meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with the Osoul Foundation for Economic Development and Sustainable Development. The meeting aimed to discuss the implementation of the clauses of the cooperation memorandum recently concluded between the two institutions.
The meeting, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, included Professor Dr. Falah Hassan Thwini, Supervisor of the Department of Economic Studies, and Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Jabri, President of the Osoul Foundation for Economic Development and Sustainable Development. The attendees discussed a number of pivotal files aimed at developing plans and studies that support the national economy and human capacity development through the activities of the Department of Economic Studies. They also addressed establishing a work mechanism capable of achieving the goals of the memorandum of understanding, as well as discussing challenges and proposing possible solutions for them.
The meeting concluded with a number of important executive recommendations, with an emphasis on monitoring their implementation according to the specified timeline
