This book is an outline for physical and human geography of Iraq.  It also dealt with the role of its geographical position in its history since the existence of man on his land until the establishment of the modern Iraqi state after the fall of the Ottoman Empire in the second decade of the twentieth century the book dealt with the evolution in the size of the population The author based on the results of the actual censuses and projections carried out by central statistical orgainzation As the author made aprojection for the year 2027 based on the formula which used by the world population bureau  The bok ends with atourist supplement that introduces the definition of the areas and sites of natural environmental historical and religous tourism to various religions and sects from northern Iraq to southern Iraq
