Bayt Al-Hikma Participates in National Conference on Sustainable Peace and Coexistence Among Religious Communities 

Represented by its Cultural Advisor, Dr. Emad Jassim Salman, Bayt Al-Hikma participated in the "National Conference on Sustainable Peace and Coexistence Among Religious Communities." The conference was organized by the "Jusra" coalition in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was attended by representatives of local and international organizations in Erbil.
The conference discussed mechanisms for promoting peaceful coexistence, factors of social cohesion among Iraq's religious and societal components, the role of civil society in sustaining peace, and ways to empower women and youth.
The participants also explored issues of empowering women in economic, political, and media fields and providing youth with sufficient opportunities to invest their scientific and creative energies to develop the societal system. Dr. Emad Jassim presented a study on "The Role of Media in Confronting Violence and Hate Speech While Establishing Mechanisms for Civil Peace."
The conference also featured a presentation of the achievements of the "Jusra" coalition since 2021 and the submission of scientific recommendations for the future of cooperation among organizations.
The participation of Bayt Al-Hikma in local and international conferences comes within the context of achieving the institution's goals and plans to cooperate with scientific, cultural, and academic institutions and to establish intellectual and humanitarian relationships through its effective contributions.
